Anyone who:

Desire Unchained is an intentionally curated space designed for the queer, kink, and leather communities. All identities and experience levels are welcome, from seasoned players to curious first-timers, as long as you show up with respect, consent, and an open mind!

Our event features:

  • The Producers: Sarge & Meg; (S&M) the creative forces behind Desire Unchained
  • Staff: ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the weekend
  • Presenters: experts leading workshops, demos, and discussions you won’t find anywhere else
  • Performers: professional kink, fetish, and burlesque artists bringing unforgettable stage acts
  • You: everyone from Desire veterans who’ve been here since the beginning, to newcomers attending their very first kink event.

Desire Unchained is a weekend-long queer celebration of kink, leather, and liberation. We do a complete hotel takeover to create a space that’s a full play party (the dungeon never closes and is all around you!), part family reunion, and part deep-dive into the art of kinky connection while we explore our deepest desires. Expect workshops, performances, 24-hour dungeon spaces, hot scenes, pool parties, and unforgettable nights where pleasure, power, and play converge under the desert moon.

The event takes place October 15 – 18, 2026. The full weekend program begins Thursday evening and concludes Monday morning.

A rough schedule of events is:

  • Thursday evening: great for newbies, we’ll cover common event questions & logistics and introduce your Staff & Presenters for the weekend.
  • Friday evening: Official Opening Night, we’ll have an action-packed night of professional entertainment!
  • Saturday evening: A Showcase Of Desire, watch your fellow attendees as well as professional kink, rope, and burlesque entertainment take the stage!
  • Sunday evening: Hanky Awards! Did you try something new? We’ll then come up on stage because you have earned a hanky!

The big event takes place October 15-18, 2026.

We return once again to the desert of Palm Springs, California, taking over an entire resort for a fully private, adults-only immersive experience. Exact venue details are provided to registered ticket holders for privacy and security reasons.

  • Desire Unchained takes place at a private hotel takeover in Palm Springs, the address will be given with your ticket purchase.
  • The rooms available on-site at the hotel are SOLD OUT
  • We will announce a room block at a neighboring hotel for folx staying off-site in early 2026.

Volunteer! Volunteering is an optional way to get reimbursed for part of your ticket cost. Volunteer information and shift sign ups will be released closer to the event.

What you get as a volunteer:

  • Earn the 2026 Volunteer Badge & $60 cash (or $80 towards a future ticket) after 4 hours of volunteering
  • Each additional hour your volunteer earns $15 paid back to you at the end of the weekend (or $20 voucher toward a future ticket)
  • During ticket checkout, you can select the option to be a volunteer
    • Our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to you to schedule your shifts

Scholarships applications for 2026 are closed.
We are reviewing the submissions and selected scholarship recipients will be contacted directly.

Staff applications are closed for 2026. But we are always looking for talented folx who are willing to help! Please fill out a Staff Application and if there is a fit for an open position in future years, we will get back to you for an interview.

Presenter applications are closed for 2026. However, we are always looking for new and diverse educators. Please email sir@desireunchained.com and if there is a fit, we will get back to you for an interview.

To keep Desire Unchained ticket costs accessible to as many community members as possible, we are making several thoughtful adjustments for 2026:

  • Limited 1:1 Sessions
  • We are limiting the number of Presenters this year and asking each educator to focus most on their large group classes, small group intensives, and public demo’s.
  • As a result, 1:1 sessions will only be available to VIP pass holders, rather than all attendees. This will prevent overall ticket prices from doubling. While 1:1 education will still be a unique offering for Desire, the priority will be for group events that are available to as many attendees as possible.

These changes ensure that Desire Unchained remains financially sustainable and affordable, while still delivering high-value education and a play-focused experience.

Meals Will Not Be Catered for Attendees

To significantly reduce event operating costs, and avoid raising ticket prices any more than we already had to, we will not be providing catered meals to all attendees this year. Instead attendees are encouraged to plan meals (and meal timing) that align best with their dietary needs. We are also working on having a food truck each day with limited menu options.

Yes! There is a place to keep larger items, like toy bags. We do have a small locker room for securing smaller items (like phones & keys). If you’d like to lock up your small items bring your own lock!

Yes! There are locker room style communal showers available for all attendees to use.

Desire Unchained is an intentionally curated space centered around consent. Per the waiver that you signed to attend the event:
Attendees, staff, and volunteers are prohibited from using illegal substances or any substances in a manner that results in impaired consent capacity, unsafe behavior, inability to negotiate clearly, inability to respect boundaries, or inability to safely participate.

Desire Unchained on-site rooms are sold out. Priority was given to Presenters and VIP ticket holders to book their rooms first.

Some folx might be curious, is there certain play not allowed or that has limitations? Like water sports in the public showers? Breath play? Knife play? Loud CNC scenes?

Desire Unchained is an event to truly satisfy your deepest desires; this means heavy and hot scenes. Play that is typically not allowed at other parties is encouraged at this event. Like:

– Water sports are definitely allowed in the public showers, there is also an outdoor Piss Alley for dedicated yellow hanky flaggers.

– Safe breath play is encouraged.

– Consensual knife play is sexy. 🔪

– There is a dedicated space for messy blood play scenes, aka The Dexter Room, though blood play is allowed everywhere at the event with proper cleanup.

– Loud CNC screams, I mean scenes, are absolutely encouraged.

– And fire is a yearly tradition with folx getting lit on fire and thrown in the pool with our Flash & Splash party 🔥

The only hard rule around play is no sex in the pool!

All tickets must be formally transferred with Desire Unchained, there is no such thing as a second hand ticket. To transfer a ticket, email sarge@desireunchained.com

We check IDs at the door, and if your legal name does not match a ticket in our system you will not be allowed entry. Even if you purchased a ticket from someone or someone gave you a QR code to use.  

No. Desire Unchained is a full resort takeover! Many folx do not wear clothes, the entire weekend. Though we do encourage wearing sunscreen!
Wear as little or as much as you want. Wear what makes you feel comfortable, or fabulous.
Part of the decision to move the event to October is the weather is typically warm enough in the daytime to be fully nude and cold enough in the evening to wear an outfit, so pack your leather and latex!

Whatever makes you comfortable! October is one of our favorite times to take over the desert, and the weather is looking pretty damn perfect.

Expect temperatures in the 80s during the day and dipping into the 60s at night.

That means warm afternoons lounging by the pool wearing as little as you Desire. In fact, you don’t have to wear clothes at all inside the resort.

Pack sunscreen. Pack a water bottle. We will have water coolers available throughout the resort to keep everyone hydrated, but we do not provide cups, so make sure you bring something to fill up.

And while you are welcome to be naked throughout the resort, please bring a towel to sit on in public spaces. Your naked body is welcome. Your naked booty directly on the shared furniture is not.

Once the sun goes down, the desert cools off quickly. Pack your leather, latex, boots, gear, and layers.

Yes. Seriously. Do. Not. Forget. It.

You must bring a valid, government-issued photo ID, and the legal name on your ID must match the legal name on your Desire ticket.

We know many members of our community use names that are different from their legal names. Your legal name is only needed for check-in and ticket verification.

Yes! We’ll have high-quality tees, hoodies, tanks, and more, featuring this year’s Queer Artist of the Year design! Plus, we’ve got other exciting news.

Want to make it personal? You can add your name or other personal touches to our regular merch offerings to make them uniquely yours.

Prefer something different? Bring your own! You can bring a clean, cotton or cotton-blend item from home to have this year’s designs printed directly on it. Whether it’s your favorite tee, a perfectly fitted tank, or a cozy hoodie, you can choose a style you love. Personalization is available for these items, too.

We’re excited to offer so many ways to show off this year’s designs, whether you choose one of our ready-made items or customize something of your own.

There will be NO cash exchanges permitted on-site at Desire Unchained.

This includes transactions at our Swap Meet and Bootblack Stands, so plan ahead!
During evening performances you use can use Venmo to purchase Desire Bucks to tip Performers.

Get your Venmo, Cash App, or tap to pay ready before you arrive. We love a good exchange. Just not one involving cash.

Yes. And if Staff see you not using a pad we will interrupt your scene and wave one in your face.

Raquel’s Mexican Food truck (Desert Hot Springs) will be coming for lunch that you can purchase Fri/Sat/Sun with tacos, burritos, and vegetarian options.

No. There is no cash exchange on-site t comply with VICE laws.
Vendors and desire Merch can accept digital payments like tap to pay or Venmo.
Desire Bucks can be purchased at the merch table with Venmo so you can tip Performers or Bootblacks.

All DM carts at Desire Unchained have:

You are expected to return play stations to the (cleanliness) condition they started. So if you are planning a messy scene larger than these supplies can contain, you need to bring your own!

Yes, phones are allowed, but we ask you to keep them away and be present in the moment. If you need to check your phone or make a call, you can step into the Registration space. All attendees will be asked to cover their phone cameras with stickers provided at the event. There are small lockers (bring your own lock!) to secure your phone.

Photography, video, audio, and recording of any kind are strictly prohibited. This policy protects the privacy, safety, and consent of everyone in our community.
